The Flying Apron Inn & Cookery is a renovated historic building in rural Summerville featuring a 4-star inn with five guest rooms, each with an ensuite bathroom and freshly pressed sheets. The weekend Coffee House serves freshly baked pastries, house-made ice creams, signature made-from-scratch desserts, and locally roasted coffees. Hands-on or demonstration cooking classes are led by Chef Chris Velden, and the property includes an on-site art gallery, gourmet food shop, and used bookstore. The inn sources 90% of ingredients locally and offers accommodation packages including cooking classes and culinary getaways.
