About Mecklenburgh Inn
The 'Meck' is an historic turn of the century inn circa 1902, 40 minutes from Halifax and two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean in Chester. Four guest rooms all have private bath - three with clawfoot tubs and shower, one with shower only. Rooms are large and bright, with pillow top mattresses, down duvets and crisp line-dried Frette linens. The atmosphere is casual with upper and lower decks for afternoon cocktails and a living room for fireside chats, scrabble or perusing magazines.
