About Lost Bell Estate Winery
Founded in the mid-1980s by Doug and Suzanne Corkum, Lost Bell Estate Winery is home to some of the oldest vines in the province. Suzanne Corkum was Nova Scotia's first female winemaker. The estate vineyard grows L'acadie Blanc, Seyval Blanc, New York Muscat, Marechal Foch, and Lucy Kuhlmann. The name Lost Bell is inspired by the story of the lost church bell of Sainte-Famille Parish, rumoured to be filled with precious metals and hidden in a pond at the vineyard.
